Our Mission is to develop an Open Social Security Administration Inter-Application Communication Protocol that will enable External Systems to Communicate between each other in a Secure and Seamless manner. This APPI is based on Open Standards, and will serve all consumers and providers with the required information and services pertaining to Social Security Administration Processes. The scope of the APPI known as SSA-XML is to cover all Social Security Administration Data and Processes Globally. SSA-XML Specifications will be Published for Software Providers to incorporate into their Software Solutions and APPI will be updated to reflect the needs and requirements of the Social Security Administration Agencies throughout the world.
